Here's a personal pet peeve but I would be interested in hearing opinions from others.
Over the holidays, my husband and I went out to dinner. Nice restaurant, cozy atmosphere, subtle music playing in the background. Shortly after we ordered, another couple in their mid 50's sat a table nearby. The woman's cell phone rang, she answered it (remained at her table) and proceeded to tell the person on the other end her entire days' events. Why does this happen?

If you HAVE to take the call, leave the table and go elsewhere or outside. It's inconsiderate to those around you!
I agree with Hippy Chick totally! I am sorry that happened to you Judy, but I feel really sorry for her husband, I think that her actions were inconsiderate of him most of all.
