I'm bombarded recently with articles on Facebook. (Click to read the Fortune article on Facebook's creator. he's only 25!! http://money.cnn.com/2009/02/16/technology/hempel_facebook.fortune/).
The article says that women are the fastest growing demographic and 70% of Facebook users are outside of the US. (Women 55+ up 175% since September 2008!).
So what do you think? Are you on Facebook? Do you worry about what you say? Do you post pics of your family? Do you worry about job connections and Facebook. I just read about a teenager who was fired because she posted on Facebook that her job was boring (& she didn't even mention the actual employer). And what about that speech writer for Obama who posed drunk with a cardboard image of Hillary Clinton on Facebook; he wasn't fired. Are there double standards? Is there a legal line to cross or consider?

OK, I am totally addicted to facebook. I check it several several times a day!!
Yes I post pictures, but I have my privacy settings set that ONLY my friends can see anything, pictures, profile, anything posted...I trust my friends with photos of my family, but I wouldn't want the whole world seeing them, so that is why I have all of my privacy setting set so strictly.
I think FB is an excellent way to stay in touch with people, I have family on there (yes, my mom and dad are both on there, and they only live 3 miles away, lol) cousins, aunts, uncles...not to mention all of my high school and college friends and a bunch of friends I have met since then...
Talk about timing! Here is a link on the Facebook virus:

I use Facebook but limit who has access to my info. and pictures. I'm not surprised that women are high users, its our desire to connect!!
Totally addicted to FB, I think it is wonderful, although I do watch what I say and post for people to say. I have connected with people that I haven't talked to in 15+ years!
