Headline News Events
Is anyone else concerned about the recent violent outbursts in public places? The Binghampton one hits us close to home just because of proximity. Is it the economy? I just read in TIME magazine that there is a very detailed book out on Columbine - which was in 1990 and seems to represent the onset of this type of violence (at least the start with kids). I often find that when I go into public buildings, I think about quick exits and hiding spots - does anyone else do this? Is there anything that can be done from a social perspective to help with this?
