I enjoy the hoopla, it's an escape from reality for me. Fun to see the gowns and do a little "trash talk" : )
Glad it is before Lent this year - I can partake in the gossip! :-)
As for the movies. I saw 3 and how I managed this, I don't know! Brad was fine in BB, but didn't think the movie was something great. I also saw the Wrestler - and not sure why I ended up seeing it b/c I have never been able to understand why anyone would watch fake wrestling. (Does anyone get it??)I thought it odd that everyone thought Mickey was great - I couldn't look at his face w/ all the plastic surgery he has had. I also so Slumdogs and thought it dreadfully depressing and wasn't sure why anyone one thought it was a feel-good movie. I want to see the Reader and Revolutionary Road; so .... Chick Mom is now accepting movie-dates!!
